TIMING CHIP REMINDER

The first races of the year are fast approaching! All riders racing UCA events this year will be required to purchase or rent a timing chip.

The price is $40.95. This is a one time charge, and the chips will be good for several years. This is a small price to pay for more accurate and timely scoring.

Chips will be available at UCA events for the one-day rentel fee of $10.00, Sportsbase will have representatives there at assist you if you don't want to purchase a chip and need to rent one.

You MUST use a credit card if you want to rent a chip at the races. Please be aware of this fact.

Now registered with USAC

We're now registered with USA Cycling and UCA, so if you're going to race this year, when you renew your license select "Skull Candy/JSA architects" in the drop down box for teams. Once you're registered, please also email your license number and category to skullcandyracing@gmail.com.
If you already renewed or bought your license before we had the team registered, let me know and i'll pass your license number and name on to the USA Cycling rep and she will change it for you.

Short extension on kit orders

We got the artwork in and proof approved and have put a deposit on the kits, but Jay at Blackbottoms tells me we have a few more days to finalize the numbers, SO, we will take applications and additional team gear orders until Saturday, Feb. 14 (yes, it's Valentines Day).
You can mail these and your check to the address on the bottom of the application, or drop them off at Revolution (8714 S, 700 E). Applications can be downloaded from the previous post here on the blog or picked up at Revolution.

Check your order

I emailed out the final order for kits last friday. We're sending it off to Blackbottoms today, so i'm putting out one last call to double check your order. If you didn't get an email, check your "spam" box in case it got filtered out. If you still can't find it, let me know at skullcandyracing@gmail.com and i'll send it off to you.

Applications and kit orders

We're going to be placing an order for kits by this friday, so please get your orders in as quickly as you can. Melissa at Revolution in Sandy (700 E. 8714 S.) has a Blackbottoms fit kit if you want to try on jersey and bibs before ordering.

You can mail the applications and checks to the address on the bottom of the application (we need a hard copy with your signature for insurance), but to make sure you get your kit order in by the Thurs, feb. 5 deadline you can also email your completed application and order form to skullcandyracing@gmail.com and then mail the hard copy and check.

You can also drop off your application and check to Melissa at Revolution before Thursday 5:00 pm (we'll probably do a second order in the future, but if you want to get in on the first kit order we need to submit that by this friday, Feb. 6).

Application Forms

You can download these files, fill them out, and send them in to the address at the bottom of page 3 or drop them off to Melissa at Revolution (8714 south 700 east). We need an original signature for insurance reasons.
